CW fans have a lot to look forward to this summer! The CW announced their summer line up and it does not disappoint. The network is debuting six NEW series and bringing back five fan favorites.

Kicking things of Burden of Truth returns for its second season on Sunday, June 2nd. The legal drama stars Smallville‘s Kristin Kreuk as a young lawyer navigating big cases and family drama. Also back for season two is fantasy series The Outpost. Jessica Green stars as Talon and her quest to avenge her village will continue on Thursday, July 11th.

CW’s unscripted programming kicks off with back to back episodes of Dean Cain’s Masters of Illusion on Friday, June 7th. Fans of Penn & Teller: Fool Us have to wait until June 17th for its return, but airing immediately after is a brand new episode of Whose Line Is It, Anyway. https://www.facebook.com/cwmastersofillusion

Now on to the NEW shows!

The only new project with a confirmed air date is talent competition show The Big Stage, which premieres June 7th and will be hosted by Elizabeth Stanton and James Maslow. Joining the network at some point is British action drama Bulletproof, starring Doctor Who‘s Noel Clarke. The series follows two undercover cops hunting criminals in London. Another drama Pandora is heading to the CW. Pandora is a sci-fi action drama about a young woman’s new life at the Earth’s Space Training Academy. She’s learning to defend the galaxy from threats, both alien and human.

Two new docu-series will premiere this summer.

The first is Mysteries Decoded which investigates some of America’s greatest unsolved mysteries, from Area 51 to the Salem Witch Trials. Each investigation is led by Jennifer Marshall, an accomplished U.S. Navy veteran turned Private Investigator.

Second is extreme sports docuseries Red Bull Peaking. Each episode provides an intimate portrait of an incredible athlete, including iconic extreme sports stars Kelly McGarry, James Stewart, and Jenny Rissveds.

Last but not least is a comedy game show Hypnotize Me, hosted by Taye Diggs. The contestants must work together to complete a variety of simple, everyday tasks, from frosting a cake to blowing up balloons after being hypnotized. Their entranced states lead to hilarious challenges, but big money is on the line!
